God loves you dearly.
God has chosen you.
You have been made right with God by the Blood of Jesus.
You are an heir to the inheritance through faith in Christ.
The Blood of Jesus redeems you.
You are the apple of God’s eyes.
You are a beloved child of God.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)
God says that He will never forget you.
Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:15-16)
You are God’s masterpiece.
You are never forsaken or abandoned by God.
God will take care of you till the very end.
God knows everything about you, and He cares for you.
Even to your old age and grey hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. (Isaiah 46:4)
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. (Luke 12:7)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2)
When the devil lies to you that you are worthless, remember, God says that you are very valuable.
You are valuable to God in Christ.
Since Jesus died on the cross, we are bought by a price. So we are valuable to God.
Say to yourself “I am valuable to God”.
When you are lonely, and you feel that there is no one for you, God wants you to know that you are not alone.
When you feel down, remind yourself that God has chosen you.
No matter how dark the world situation seems, God has a plan. No matter how insignificant you feel, God loves you and wants to use you. No matter how sinful and separated from God you are, salvation is available to you. God truly loves you.
God is with you in trouble.
In the difficult times, ‘in trouble’ (Psalm 91:15), you may sometimes feel that God has left you. In these times listen to God’s promises over and above your feelings and emotions.
This psalm is all about God’s protection and encourages you not to be afraid:
‘If you make the Most High your dwelling –
even the Lord, who is my refuge –
then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.’ (Psalm 91:9-10)
This might appear to be the recipe for a trouble-free life. However, the psalmist goes on:
‘“Because you love me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue you;
I will protect you, for you acknowledge my name.
You will call upon me, and I will answer you;
I will be with you in trouble”’ (Psalm 91:14–15).
It is clear from this that those who love the Lord will not avoid trouble. God does not promise a trouble-free life. Rather, He promises that He will rescue you, protect you and answer your prayers. More than that He promises, ‘I will be with you’ in trouble. This is what makes all the difference. Even in the darkest times, He is with you. You are never alone.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Jesus asks us to come to Him with what is weighing us down, whether it be in fear, anxiety, anger, or hopelessness. He refreshes our spirit with His presence. Quiet your hearts, give your burdens to God, and rest in His presence today.
God wants to have a relationship with you. Are you ready? Are you willing? The good news of the gospel is that forgiveness of sins and freedom from guilt are available to all people with faith in Christ, including you. Have you received this forgiveness? Are you refreshed by it each day?
He’s waiting for you with open arms.
God wants to live in you.
God’s forgiveness and salvation through Christ are available to all.
Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour today itself.
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2Corinthians 6:2)
As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:15)
Put your faith in Christ today and spend time connecting with Him – the God who sees you, loves you, and values you.
There is a God who loves you dearly. His name is Jesus.
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)
Your response to God
Lyrics from the song “You” as a song of your response to God.
As I pray and wait upon the Lord
I know your grace and love I am restored
As I think of all you’ve done for me
The mystery of your love
Who walked upon the sea
Who lived to die for me
You Lord, You Lord
You Lord, Lord
As I look upon you, I am changed
And though I fail, your faithful love remains
As I sing and worship you
I find again no words describe your love
Who watches over me
Who love has covered me
You Lord, You Lord
You Lord, Lord
Hallelujah, hallelujah almighty one
There is none like you
Hallelujah, hallelujah almighty one
There is none like you
Hallelujah, hallelujah almighty one
There is none like you
Hallelujah, hallelujah almighty one
There is none like you.
There is none like you.
Remind yourself that you belong to God
Quoting lines from another song “Remind me who I am “.
Who I am to You, who I am to You
Tell me, lest I forget
Who I am to You, that I belong to You
To You
